The Municipality of Struer

The Municipality of Struer is characterised by prosperity and development. It is located by the Liim Fiord (Limfjorden) in the North Western part of Denmark around 200 km from the German border and a little more than 4 hours drive from Copenhagen.

The area surrounding Struer offers magnificent landscapes, cultural experiences and high-tech companies. With 136 km of coastline and a wonderful nature right at your door step, you are never far from great outdoor experiences.

Bang & Olufsen and other large enterprises of the area provide an inspiring international environment with a large number of international employees and global visions. During the last year, around 250 people (adults) from abroad have taken up residence in Struer, and they make up almost about one fifth of all newcomers.
